Centennial College is an independent college established by The University of Hong Kong and registered under the Post-Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap. 320). The College offers full-time self-financed 4-year Bachelor degree programmes, and is now inviting applications for appointment as:

Project Officer [RF: 2016/17-FT-017-CMT]

Duties

The appointee will be responsible for overseeing the successful completion of an EDB-funded project requiring the setting up a MOODLE platform for teaching and learning of academic English courses. S/he will also be in-charge of organising training sessions and workshops for teachers and students. In addition, the appointee will undertake day-to-day duties related to the project.

 

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master’s degree (in English Language/Online Education) with a minimum of 2-3 years of project management experience (preferably in instructional design). S/he should be detail minded and independent with strong organisational, analytical and problem solving skills as well as a good team player with sound leadership and interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in e-learning technologies and a good command of written and spoken English are required.

 

Terms of Appointment

Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will be for an initial period of 15 months with the possibility of renewal subject to review. Medical and dental benefits, annual leave, and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.
