Centennial College, an independent College established by The University of Hong Kong, is a post-secondary college registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap. 320). The College  offers full-time self-financed 4-year Bachelor degree programmes, and  is now inviting applications for appointment as:

 

Student Research Assistant (several posts) [RF: 2016/17-PT-002-CMT]

Duties

The appointees will assist in supporting a research project such as inputting data, conducting literature research on urban ecology and providing research support for conducting surveys in urban parks. One of the main duties is conducting face-to-face interview with park visitors at the study areas by using a questionnaire.

Requirements

Level 2 or above in five subjects (including English and Chinese Languages) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent. Candidates should have good command of written Chinese and Cantonese, and written and spoken English, proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel. Have an independent, reliable, friendly and outgoing character. Current undergraduate students are welcome to apply. 

 

Terms of Appointment

The appointment will normally last for 6 months initially and is subject to renewal with mutual agreement. Salary will be paid on hourly basis.
