Corporate Social Responsibility – Your Competitive Edge
On 6 November 2015, the Case Research Centre held the highlight event of the year, during which four prominent guest speakers were invited to share their views and insights on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Enthusiastic responses were received from the more than 200 participants from different industries and academia in Hong Kong and overseas. The seminar was first kicked off with a sharing by Dr. Jeanne Ng, Director of Group Sustainability from CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, on “Sustainability and Transparency”. Mr. Daniel Wong, Director and Head of Research and Development of Hang Seng Indexes, then enlightened the audience on the “Value and Potential of Corporate Social Responsibility”. Miss Ivy Lau, Director, Talent Engagement and Corporate Social Investment of Hong Kong Broadband Network, further shared her experience on “Innovation in CSR”. The seminar ended with a discussion on “The Trend of Fair Trade in CSR in Asian Countries”, by Ms Daphne Ip, Executive Secretary of Fair Trade Hong Kong Foundation.
