Management as a Liberal Art Symposium
Jointly organised by Centennial College, Peter F. Drucker Academy and Metro Finance, the first-ever Management as a Liberal Art Symposium was very well received by over 290 participants. Renowned speakers from various industries and academia were invited to discuss today’s hot topics in management along with Peter F. Drucker’s management philosophy.
The opening speech was given by Prof. Edward Chen, Chairman of Council of Centennial College, followed by the keynote speech of Prof. Joseph A. Maciariello, Research Director of Drucker Lab and Mr. Bernard Chan, President of Asia Financial Holdings Ltd. The Symposium was brimmed with two panel discussions, focusing on the topics of "People" and "Weath Creation". We were honoured to have Dr. Royce Yuen, CEO of MaLogic and Ms Ruthia Wong, Vice-President and General Manager Hong Kong of Mead Johnson Nutrition (HK) Ltd to be the facilitators of the panel discussions. Other notable speakers in the panel discussions include Ms Caroline Mak, Former Director of The Dairy Farm Group, Ms Smile Cheung, Founder and Director of Smile Training and Development, Ms Bonnie So, Secretary General of Hong Kong Red Cross, Mr. Andrew Tsui, Chairman of Korn/Ferry International's Hong Kong and Southern China, Mr. Sunny Wong, Executive Director of Tibet Water Resources Ltd, Mr. Ko Tin Lung, Artistic Director of Chung Ying Theatre Company, Mr. Sunny Cheung, CEO of Octopus Holdings Ltd, Mr. Walter Tsui, Co-Founder of CareER, Mr. David Fong, Managing Director of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Ltd, Mr. Chong Got, Former Senior Corporate Director of Dah Chong Holdings Ltd, Pastor Stephen Lee, City Pastor of Saddleback Church Hong Kong, as well as Prof. Chan Wing Wah, Vice-President (Academic) and Director of School of Management of Centennial College.
