Centennial College, an independent post-secondary college registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap. 320), has been established by the University of Hong Kong to provide full-time self-financed 4-year degree programmes. The College is now inviting applications for appointment as:


Student Research Assistant(s) (Part-time) [RF: 2016/17-PT-019-CMT]


The appointee(s) will assist in the research work for the research project on student’s learning and academic performance. Responsibilities include conducting literature review, data collection, data entry, data analysis, and other duties assigned by the principal investigator.


Level 2 or above in five subjects (including English and Chinese Languages) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination or Grade E or above in five subjects (including English and Chinese Languages) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent and candidates should be studying towards a bachelor degree or a master degree. Candidates should be familiar with social science research methods, possess high proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), be able to work actively and independently, and have a strong sense of responsibility.


Terms of Appointment

The appointment will normally last for 3 months initially and is subject to renewal with mutual agreement. Salary will be paid on hourly basis.
