Centennial College is an independent College established by The University of Hong Kong registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap. 320). The College offers full-time self-financed 4-year Bachelor degree programmes, and is now inviting applications for appointments as:
Student Research Assistant(s) (Part-time) [RF: 2017/18-PT-001-CMT]
The appointee(s) will assist in the research work for the research project on the history of mining in Hong Kong. Responsibilities include conducting literature review, data collection, data entry, data analysis, and other duties assigned by the principal investigator.
Level 2 or above in five subjects (including English and Chinese Languages) in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent and candidates should be studying towards a bachelor degree or a master degree. Candidates should be familiar with social science research methods, possess high proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), be able to work actively and independently, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
Terms of Appointment
The appointment will normally last for 6 months initially and is subject to renewal with mutual agreement. Salary will be paid on hourly basis.
